Our staff of teachers have college degrees and advanced instruction based on the individual student's needs. They set up a step-by-step approach to success.  Our homey atmosphere extends a caring environment which, when combined with proven teaching methods, insures a positive setting for success.

Caryn is a former public school teacher and has taught both regular education and special education from pre-school through adults. She has served as a consultant to the Michigan Department of Education working on the committee that developed the accommodations for the High School Proficiency Test, the Best Practices Committee and the Special Education Task Force. She also served on the Special Education Advisory Committee to the State Board of Education including being on the Executive Committee and serving as Vice Chairman of that committee. She is currently a member of the National Board of Directors of the Learning Disabilities Association of America, on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Branch of the International Dyslexia Association.  She also was Vice President of the Capitol Area ADD Network and on the Michigan Board of Directors of the Learning Disabilities Association of Michigan.

Caryn has trained thousands of educators and parents in Michigan. She has worked for public schools, intermediate school districts, state and local agencies, private schools, colleges and other organizations. She has also trained hundreds of teachers in correctional facilities.
